Who is responsible for your data
This notice covers gamblezen-casino.me.uk only – the independent portal you're reading now, not Gamblezen itself or any account you might hold with that operator. We act as the data controller for information collected through this site: browsing data, cookies, and anything you send us directly, such as a contact-form message.
If you go on to register with Gamblezen, its own privacy policy governs whatever happens on its platform from that point – deposits, gameplay history, identity documents and so on. We have no access to that data and no say over how it's handled.
What reaches us when you visit
Like most websites, we pick up some technical information automatically: your browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, the pages you view, and how long you spend on them. We also use cookies for this purpose – our separate cookie policy explains what's stored and how to turn it off.
Beyond that, we only hold what you choose to give us. That's typically limited to:
- Your name and email address, if you contact us
- The content of your message and any reply we send
- Basic analytics events tied to a session, not to your identity
We don't ask for payment details, identity documents or anything resembling the verification paperwork a casino operator would request – that simply isn't something an information portal needs.
Who else sees it
We share data only where it's necessary to run the site: hosting providers who store it, and analytics or advertising tools that help us understand traffic and fund the portal. None of these partners receives more than the minimum needed for their function, and we never sell visitor data to anyone.
We never pass your details to Gamblezen or any other operator we write about. Clicking through to an operator's own site is a separate action governed entirely by that operator's own privacy terms.
Your UK GDPR rights
Because this portal serves UK readers, your data is handled under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. That gives you a working set of rights over anything we hold about you:
- Access – ask what we hold about you
- Rectification – correct anything inaccurate
- Erasure – ask us to delete it
- Restriction – limit how we use it
- Portability – get a copy in a usable format
- Objection – object to certain processing, including marketing
- Withdrawal – pull back consent at any time, where consent was the basis for processing
Exercising your rights
To use any of the rights above, email [email protected] and tell us what you'd like done. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and won't charge for a straightforward request. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled things, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's supervisory authority for data protection.
How long we keep it
Contact-form correspondence is kept only as long as it's useful for resolving your query and for a short period afterwards, in case you follow up. Analytics data is generally aggregated or anonymised well before it would identify an individual visitor. We don't retain data indefinitely just because storage is cheap – if there's no reason to keep something, it gets removed.
Protecting under-18s
This site, and everything it discusses, is intended for adults only. Access is restricted to visitors aged 18+, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. Gambling content of any kind is unsuitable for minors – if you share a device with a young person, consider parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio to keep gambling-related pages out of reach.
Changes to this policy
We may update this notice as the site or the tools behind it change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, so it's worth checking back occasionally rather than relying on a bookmarked copy.
Questions about anything above can go to [email protected]. If gambling itself is becoming a worry rather than this policy, free and confidential support is available at BeGambleAware or through the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 (24/7).
This content is provided for information and marketing purposes. We are not a gambling operator, bookmaker or organiser of betting or gaming activity. This site is restricted to visitors aged 18 and over (18+). Free, confidential support with gambling is available at BeGambleAware.org.
